Here at Hope Park House we are very aware of the concerns people have around COVID-19.
We take our responsibility to comply with health and safety legislation and limit the spread of the virus very seriously and as such have taken every precaution possible to ensure that any risk of infection is minimised, putting in place a number of procedures to maximise everyone’s safety.
Routine testing of residents and staff is in place, hand sanitiser and surface wipes are available throughout Hope Park House and used regularly, particularly on surfaces that are touched frequently such as light switches, door handles, and kitchen and bathroom surfaces. Hope Park House is also well-ventilated and social distancing practised where appropriate. Our infection control policies and procedures have also been inspected by the Care Inspectorate and assessed to be good and were being implemented to a high standard.
Please do not visit Hope Park House if you are experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus or if you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Government guidance states that the most common symptoms are the recent onset of a continuous cough or high temperature or a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell. Recent COVID-19 variants can also result in symptoms similar to a common cold.
If you develop any of these symptoms, you should immediately book a test through NHS Inform or by phoning 0800 028 2816. In the absence of symptoms, evidence of a negative lateral flow test must be produced, undertaken either at home on the day of the planned visit or by the Home’s staff on arrival.
